Stats

Two questions about your time, how it is going and what's worth it, under one range, with your trophies beside them.

Two questions, one range

Stats answers two questions, a tab each: how it is going (Overview) and how it felt (How it felt). Over the years and Trophies follow.

Each tab opens on its answer in one sentence, then shows the figures behind it.

One range, just under the tabs, counts for both questions: 30 days, Year so far (where Stats opens), 12 months or All time. It stays as you set it when you change tabs. Over the years and Trophies ignore it and look at your whole history.

On a phone

On a phone the range and Jump to share one bar, pinned under the tabs as you scroll. Jump to lists Overview's parts and takes you to the one you pick.

How it felt

How it felt sets the time something took against how it felt.

That is what the feeling on a session is for. A hundred hours of something that felt ordinary and ten hours of something that felt great say very different things.

When you leave feelings out

Feelings are optional. Sessions without one are left out of these patterns, and nothing asks you to record more.

Over the years and what you drifted from

Over the years holds what never follows the range: your years, the last 52 weeks, the seasons, what you drifted from and forgotten favourites.

On Over the years, What you've drifted from lists board games and video games that have gone quiet after a good run. Longest untouched lists items by days since your last session, with Log beside each, and Untouched since added lists items you own and have never logged.

Seasons, quarter by quarter

Seasons are quarters, on Over the years under the last 52 weeks. Once a quarter ends, it gets a line of its own: sessions, time, weeks active and what you did most. The quarter you are in leads the list, marked In progress. Each card draws its weeks as small bars to one scale, so a full quarter stands taller than a quiet one.

Your years and the last 52 weeks

Over the years opens on your years, one bar for each year you have been logging. Press one and Overview opens on that year. Under them, the last 52 weeks are a chain, one link a week.

Counted together

Comics, manga and books are all reading. On Overview, select Comics + Manga + Books together by the time range (inside View if your account shows that menu, and in the More menu on a phone), and Stats treats them as one shelf: one total, one set of feelings, one list of what you read most.

It's a view rather than a setting. It lives in the address, so a link to it opens it that way, and this device remembers your choice.

The rest of Overview

Under its four figures, Overview is the whole picture for the range: where your hours go, your time as a chart, your taste and the Circles you play with.

What Overview holds

Under its headline figures, Overview is the whole picture for the range: where your hours go, your time as a chart, your taste, the Circles you play with and the odds and ends.

Where your hours go has a Bars and Pie switch: Pie draws the same hours as a ring, the total in the middle, and this browser remembers your choice.

The time chart picks its own step: a bar a day for 30 days, a bar a week up to a year, a bar a month beyond.

The four figures at the top

The four figures are Time logged, Sessions, Items logged or finished, and Weeks with a session.

Once you have spent anything this year, Overview has one line about money under your taste, “CAD 2,017 spent on your hobbies this year. Budget ›”, which opens the Budget page:

Budget.
